By downloading, installing, or using iKontroller ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. License
iKontroller is licensed, not sold, to you for use strictly in accordance with these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (LAEULA).
You may:
- Install and use the App on devices you own or control
- Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
You may not:
- Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App
- Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
3. In-App Purchase Terms (iKontroller Gold)
Purchase Features:
- Unlimited custom controller layouts
- Unlimited controls per layout
- Access to future premium features
Payment:
- iKontroller Gold is a one-time purchase
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- This is a non-recurring purchase - you will not be charged again
- Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and syncs across your devices via iCloud
Restore Purchase:
- If you reinstall the app or use it on a new device, tap "Restore Purchases" in Settings
- This will restore your iKontroller Gold features at no additional cost
- You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase
Refunds:
All purchases are processed through Apple. For refund requests, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Use of the App
Required Components:
iKontroller requires both the iOS and macOS versions to function. You are responsible for:
- Ensuring compatible devices and operating systems
- Maintaining network connectivity between devices
- Granting necessary permissions (Accessibility & Local Network on Mac, Local Network on iOS)
Proper Use:
- The App simulates keyboard and mouse input on macOS
- You are responsible for ensuring use complies with game/app terms of service
- Some games may prohibit third-party input devices or automation
- Use of the App for cheating, exploits, or violations of other apps' terms is prohibited
5. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle data. Key points:
- We do not collect or transmit personal data
- All communication is local between your devices
- No cloud services or third-party analytics are used
6. Disclaimers
No Warranty:
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitations:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Performance may vary based on network conditions, device capabilities, and other factors
- We are not responsible for compatibility with specific games or applications
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Unauthorized access to your devices or data
- Bugs, errors, or malfunctions in the App
- Any other matter relating to the App
8. Updates and Modifications
- We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance
- Updates may require the latest version of iOS or macOS
- We may modify or discontinue features at any time
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Any other reason at our discretion
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
11. Apple-Specific Terms
As the App is distributed through the Apple App Store:
- Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
- Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance
- In case of App failure to conform to warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund
- Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the App
- These Terms do not conflict with Apple's LAEULA
